This is my Dejiko costume from the cute and weird little anime called Digi Charat. I made everything on this costume, including Gema Gema (the yellow blob guy i'm holding on my head). The only thing I didn't make on my own was the petticoat i'm wearing under the dress, ans obviously the wig..but I did cut and style it!

THank you! I probably won't be going to NYAF this year =\

oh i would've thought you would with the WCS preliminary rounds your costumes would probably have a high chance at winning.

aww thank you so much! I have thought about entering the WCS, but have decided to sit it out again this year due to the seemingly crazy drama it seems to bring to people involved. I know a lot of amazing cosplayers that are entering that all have a really great chance of getting it! :)

I spoke with Sonny and Renee not too long ago. They said that there was no drama as apposed to the WCS in 2002. There was minimal favoritism and the group help benefit a skilled cosplayer/designer. I might try it out next year although i doubt I'll have even a slight chance at winning. It's worth a shot.

Waaaay late reply, but I made the bells with those giant styrofoam balls you can get in any craft store. I covered them with clay and gesso to get them smooth!
